Glossary

I want to be able to use some invented terms without defining them every time. There are only a couple now but I think there are more I’m not thinking of. If I wait until I have more lined up to start writing the page, I’ll never start it.

Best-ever, noun
Some nights stand out as the best sex ever. And I don’t mean our best sex ever–I mean the best sex anyone has ever had. Probably about one night in six or so. You’re thinking that can’t be. We’d have 15 or so best nights of sex ever, every year. But it is. It’s hard to understand or explain it, but we’re making art in here, and we’re just getting better and better at it all the time.

Big Night, noun
This is what I’m writing about. On a big night we get high, legally, and fuck each other’s brains out for 2-5 hours. Mostly 3-4; the 2 and 5 are outliers. Ever since the kids got older and their soccer schedules run later in the day, we have about two big nights a week. Sometimes it’s three or one, with three being more common than one, and rarely it’s four.

Biggest, noun
A very strong orgasm. Strong enough to feel like it was stronger than any that came before. Are they really stronger than all the biggests that came before? All I know is she thinks so.

Deepest, noun
Once in a while she mentions that an orgasm was “deep.” She says she can’t explain it; when she tries she talks about it being in a part of her body that’s not really reachable, and being on another plane of existence. She goes to those other planes sometimes, but that alone doesn’t make the orgasms deep. But late the night of Dec 21 2023, she had a “deepest,” so we now have something else to add to “biggest” and “new.”

New, noun
A different kind of orgasm, one that feels different from everything before. These tend to happen when I’m doing something I haven’t done before–a different pattern with my tongue; a new form of domination, whipping, or spanking; or a different attitude or angle while fucking. But it also seems that there’s often something different about the atmosphere, our mindsets, or something like that. That the way we’re relating to each other is new. She often says she feels “news” in a new place in her body.

Pinchy, noun (also Pinchy Spot), adjective
Pinchy in her mind is a spot, in my mind it’s more of a technique. We discovered it a LONG time ago, shortly after we first started fucking. But she hadn’t known about it with previous lovers. It started with her in cowgirl; it’s awkward to work her clit from that position because you’re either using your knuckles or twisting your hand upside-down. But when I do the latter, I can grab her clit between thumb and middle finger, and squeeze and twist it, and she loves it. She has a lot of different kinds of orgasms and many are associated with the place on her body that starts it. So a “pinchy orgasm” describes the kind of orgasm she has when I get pinchy spot going. Interestingly, she will occasionally say that I “got pinchy” even when I’m not pinching, i.e. she can get that kind of orgasm from other activities that somehow stimulate pinchy spot even though I’m not down there. This, I think, is related to, for example, the link between her nipples and her clit. She has connections that run through her body.

Stuff, noun
Weed. Marijuana, pot, etc. Should we call it “grass” again? That would be fun.
