When stories work it’s about my reaction to them

She pointed something out the other day that probably should have been obvious, and maybe readers already figured it out (except I probably still don’t have any readers). So you know how when I’m telling a fantasy out loud and she hears it, it probably turns her off? But other times similar stories get her off? And there are at least a couple times she encouraged me to tell them?

I thought maybe when they worked it’s because she heard my enthusiasm. She says it’s because of how they impact me–I get dirtier and hornier and hotter when I’m telling the stories, and I demonstrate physical reactions, getting more urgent, rubbing her clit more furiously, etc. It’s those physical reactions that work on her. Makes sense.

I’ve now beaten this topic to death and will try to avoid it unless something new and interesting happens.
